Shauna

Shauna es una joven greyhound de aspecto muy irlandés y con un nombre que le queda perfecto. Sigue siendo apenas una cachorra — tiene alrededor de un año — y, aun así, los galgeros ya habían conseguido enseñarle el miedo antes incluso de poder crecer tranquila. Cuando llegó, Shauna estaba aterrorizada de las personas. Por suerte, poco a poco ha empezado a confiar en nosotros y ahora juega como la adorable cachorra que realmente es. Seguramente viene de un pasado muy duro, pero a pesar de todo sigue siendo dulce y muy sociable con otros perros. Actualmente está en tratamiento por leishmania, pero al ser tan joven somos muy positivos respecto a su futuro y creemos que podrá llevar una vida completamente normal y feliz. Esta pequeña irlandesa es un auténtico tesoro, lista para dejar atrás su pasado y descubrir por fin lo que significa un hogar lleno de amor.

Shauna is a young Irish-looking greyhound with a perfectly fitting Irish name. She is still just a puppy — only around a year old — yet sadly, galgeros had already taught her fear before she even had the chance to grow up. When Shauna arrived, she was terrified of people. Thankfully, little by little, she has begun to trust us and now plays like the lovely young puppy she truly is. As a greyhound, Shauna has a naturally calm and balanced temperament, though she is smaller than the average greyhound or galga. Her black-and-white spotted coat and adorable bat ears make her absolutely beautiful and full of charm. Shauna must have come from a very difficult past, but despite everything, she remains sweet and social with all other dogs. She is currently being treated for leishmania, but because she is still such a young girl, we are very positive that it will not affect her future. This little Irish girl is a true treasure, ready to leave her difficult past behind and discover what a loving home truly feels like.

Gaviota

Gaviota es una pequeña dama tímida — bastante diferente de lo que su nombre podría hacer imaginar. With her huge expressive eyes always fixed on you, she quietly wonders whether you are bringing love and cuddles, while still carrying a little caution towards humans. Thankfully, Gaviota learns quickly that people can be kind, gentle, and full of affection. She is the sort of tiny soul who asks for very little yet gives back so much more. Watching dogs like Gaviota slowly let go of their fear and begin to trust again is one of the most heartwarming things to witness. Love truly can work miracles — and we see it every day. Gaviota is very sociable with other dogs, though she prefers to stay quietly in the background rather than push herself forward. She is gentle, sweet, and deeply touching in her quiet way. Candela

Candela es una preciosa galga atigrada marmolada clara con un carácter dulce y tranquilo. Al principio puede parecer tímida y reservada, pero detrás de esa calma se esconde una galga absolutamente adorable y preciosa. Candela no es para nada del tipo “mírame a mí” ni busca llamar la atención constantemente. Más bien observa en silencio y espera pacientemente a que te acerques a darle una caricia o un mimo. Y con el más pequeño gesto de cariño, ella ya es feliz. Candela no pide mucho — solo amor, amabilidad y un lugar seguro donde sentirse querida. Instead, she quietly observes, patiently waiting for you to come to her for a gentle pat or cuddle. And with even the smallest bit of affection, she is happy. Candela asks for very little — just kindness, love, and a safe place to belong. She is very sociable with everyone and happily shares her space with other dogs, always polite and never pushy. She quietly stays in the background, making her sweet nature even more touching. Candela is simply a calm, lovely soul waiting for someone to truly see her.

Morena

Morena tiene nueve años jóvenes — aunque sinceramente pensarías que todavía es una cachorra. Es pequeñita y adorable, y parece más una galguita de seis meses que una galga adulta. Morena is nine years young — although you would honestly think she was still a puppy. Tiny and adorable, she looks more like a six-month-old youngster than a mature galga. She is an absolutely lovely little lady: sociable, affectionate, and always ready for as many cuddles as she can get. Just looking at her is enough to make you smile, and once you meet her, she will completely melt your heart. Morena is one of those special galgas who simply brings warmth and happiness wherever she goes. She is easygoing, loving, and gives her whole heart to the people around her. Please don’t let her age put you off — age truly is just a number. Morena is a real treasure and could easily be mistaken for a much younger galga. A tiny bundle of love waiting to brighten someone’s life.

Alonso

Alonso es un precioso galgo de color marmolado atigrado claro, con un alma muy dulce. Cuando llegó era algo tímido — una señal clara de que nunca recibió amor ni atención positiva de su galguero. Pero poco a poco Alonso ha empezado a dejar atrás ese miedo y a entender que con nosotros ya no tiene que temer nada. Aquí solo hay amor, comodidad, buena comida y amigos con los que jugar. Ahora Alonso está floreciendo y convirtiéndose en el galgo juguetón y feliz que siempre debió ser. Le encanta estar cerca de nosotros, donde se siente seguro y querido, y cada día muestra más su lado cariñoso. Alonso is a gorgeous light brindle marble-coloured boy with a truly gentle soul. When he first arrived, he was somewhat shy — a clear sign that he had never received love or positive attention from his galguero. But slowly, Alonso has begun to leave that fear behind and understand that with us, he never has to fear anything again. Here, there is only love, comfort, good food, and friends to play with. Now Alonso is blossoming into the playful young galgo he was always meant to be. He loves being close to us, where he feels safe and cared for, and his affectionate personality shines more each day. We truly hope this beautiful boy will soon find the forever loving home he so deserves.

Jara

Jara es una galga encantadora y maravillosamente equilibrada. Es sociable con todo el mundo, juguetona, adaptable y siempre feliz de hacer nuevos amigos — tanto humanos como peludos. Le encanta jugar y disfruta mucho del cariño, pero nunca es demandante. En lugar de buscar atención constantemente, Jara espera tranquilamente a que vayas hacia ella, algo que hace su carácter aún más especial. Actualmente Jara está en tratamiento por filaria (gusano del corazón). Tristemente, muchos de nuestros galgos rescatados llegan con esta enfermedad. La buena noticia es que, una vez tratados por nuestros veterinarios, se recuperan muy bien y pueden llevar una vida completamente normal y feliz. Cuando termine su tratamiento, Jara estará lista para encontrar el hogar lleno de amor que tanto merece — un hogar donde su carácter dulce y tranquilo traerá muchísima felicidad.

Jara is a lovely and wonderfully balanced galga. She is social with everyone, playful, adaptable, and always happy to make new friends — whether human or furry. She loves to play and enjoys affection, but she is never demanding. Instead of pushing herself forward for attention, Jara quietly waits for you to come to her, making her gentle nature even more endearing. Jara is currently undergoing treatment for filaria (heartworm). Sadly, many of our recently rescued galgos arrive with this condition. The good news is that once treated by our vets, they recover very well and are able to go on to live completely normal, happy lives. Once her treatment is completed, Jara will be ready for the loving home she so deserves — a home where her sweet, calm nature will surely bring endless happiness.

Singer

Singer is a very balanced and confident girl, which means she could happily live either as an only dog or alongside other male dogs. She is also comfortable around noise and busy surroundings, so we think she could adapt beautifully to city life too. For Singer, it really doesn’t matter where she lives — as long as her life is filled with love, play, affection, and a family to call her own, she will be happy. Blanca, as her name suggests, is a pure white and absolutely beautiful galga. She is not only stunning to look at, but also wonderfully social, playful, and always ready for affection. Blanca truly loves everyone and everything around her, approaching life with joy and enthusiasm. She would make a wonderful companion to share daily life with — whether it’s walks, outings, relaxing at home, or simply being by your side through everyday routines. Blanca is truly precious. Soroya

Soroya tiene 12 años jóvenes. ¿Te imaginas encontrarte sin hogar a esta edad? Nos parece desgarrador que perros que lo han dado todo durante toda su vida sean abandonados cuando envejecen. Pero quizá, en esta última etapa de su vida, Soroya pueda por fin descubrir lo que significa tener un hogar lleno de amor — porque sin duda lo merece. Soroya no solo tiene que enfrentarse a que muchas personas la pasen por alto por su edad, sino que además está en tratamiento por filaria. Y, aun así, también sufrió un ataque. Pero ella lo soporta todo con una dignidad y una esperanza inmensas. Espera pacientemente, siempre dulce, siempre amable. Sus ojos siguen llenos de esperanza y todavía tiene muchísimo amor para dar. Soroya is 12 years young. Can you imagine finding yourself without a home at this age? We find it heartbreaking that dogs who have given everything their whole lives can suddenly be discarded when they are older. But perhaps, for the final chapter of Soroya’s life, she will finally discover what a loving home truly feels like — because she absolutely deserves one. Soroya not only faces the challenge of being overlooked because of her age, but she is also currently undergoing treatment for filaria. On top of that, she was attacked, and yet she continues on with quiet dignity and hope. She waits patiently, always gentle, always kind. Her eyes are still full of hope, and she still has so much love left to give. Soroya is very sociable and always comes for cuddles and affection. We truly believe this lovely girl could bring peace, warmth, and quiet happiness into a home lucky enough to welcome her.

Anochecer

Anochecer es una galga alegre y maravillosa, con un alma preciosa. Aunque tiene casi 8 años, sigue siendo juguetona, divertida y llena de vida. Y, por encima de todo, le encantan los mimos y dedicar toda su atención a las personas que quiere. Es simplemente maravillosa. Dulce, cariñosa, alegre y llena de amor. No entendemos por qué esta chica tan especial todavía no ha encontrado un hogar. ¿Será porque ya no es una cachorra? ¿Será porque es negra? Para nosotros, la edad es solo un número y el color jamás debería importar — especialmente cuando una galga es tan amorosa y especial como Anochecer. Todavía tiene muchísimo cariño, alegría y compañía para ofrecer. Esperamos de corazón que alguien vea pronto lo increíble que es y le dé por fin el hogar definitivo que tanto merece.

Anochecer is a lovely, happy galga with a truly beautiful soul. While she is nearly 8 years old, she is still bouncy, playful, and full of life. And more than anything else — she absolutely loves cuddles and giving all her attention to her humans. She is simply wonderful. Gentle, affectionate, joyful, and endlessly loving. Why this special girl has still not found a home remains a mystery to us. Could it be because she is no longer a puppy? Could it be because she is black? In our eyes, age is only a number, and colour should never matter — especially when a dog is as loving and precious as Anochecer. She still has so much happiness, companionship, and love to give. We truly hope someone will soon see what an incredible girl she is and finally give her the forever home she deserves.

Dólar

Dólar es un galgo color crema absolutamente impresionante, precioso tanto por fuera como por dentro. Durante sus primeros cinco años con un galguero, apenas conoció la bondad humana. En cambio, aprendió el miedo — que las personas podían hacer daño, abandonar y dejar pasar hambre. No es de extrañar que, cuando llegó, este chico tan hermoso quisiera escapar cada vez que alguien se acercaba. Dólar is an absolutely stunning cream-coloured galgo, beautiful both in appearance and in spirit. During his first five years with a galguero, he learned very little kindness from humans. Instead, he learned fear — that people could hurt, neglect, and starve him. It is no surprise that when he first arrived, this gorgeous boy wanted to run away whenever a person approached him. Thankfully, Dólar has a huge heart and a wonderfully forgiving nature. He is also incredibly intelligent, and slowly he has begun to realise that not all humans are the same. Little by little, he now comes to us for cuddles and affection, learning to trust and to enjoy the love he has always deserved. Watching a frightened galgo slowly let go of fear and open his heart again is truly one of the most beautiful journeys. Dólar still has more healing ahead of him, but we know that in a loving home he will continue to blossom and finally discover the safe, happy life he was always meant to have.

Talavante

Talavante es un precioso galgo negro azabache con un carácter dulce y algo tímido. Aunque al principio pueda parecer un poco reservado, pronto deja atrás los miedos que trae de su vida con los galgueros y se convierte en un perro muy cariñoso que disfruta muchísimo de los mimos y las caricias. Talavante es muy sociable con otros perros y realmente es un chico buenísimo — tranquilo, educado y nunca busca problemas. Solo desea paz, cariño y un lugar al que por fin pueda llamar hogar. Tristemente, ser un galgo macho grande y negro hace que muchas veces pase desapercibido. Pero esperamos que alguien pueda mirar más allá de eso y descubrir el alma maravillosa que realmente es Talavante. Él estaría inmensamente agradecido de encontrar por fin una familia que lo quiera para siempre.

Talavante is a handsome jet-black galgo with a gentle and somewhat shy nature. While he may appear a little reserved at first, it doesn’t take long for him to forget the fears he carried from his past life with the galgueros. Once he feels safe, he becomes incredibly affectionate and happily melts into cuddles and attention. Talavante is very sociable with other dogs and is truly a very good boy — calm, well-behaved, and never looking for trouble. He simply wants peace, kindness, and a place where he finally belongs. Sadly, being a large black male galgo often means being overlooked. But we hope someone will look beyond this and see the wonderful soul that Talavante truly is. He would be endlessly grateful to finally have a loving home to call his own.

Conde

Conde parece y se siente como un auténtico osito de peluche. Con su suave pelaje y su expresión dulce, es imposible no enamorarse de él. Por desgracia, la vida no ha sido amable con él. Conde todavía tiene algo de miedo hacia las personas y, cuando llegó, se escondía en el rincón de su chenil — su lugar seguro. Un auténtico osito de peluche esperando descubrir que el amor ahora será para siempre.

Conde looks and feels just like a teddy bear. With his wonderfully soft coat and gentle expression, he is impossible not to fall in love with. Sadly, life has not always been kind to him. Conde is still a little fearful of people, and when he first arrived, he would hide away in the corner of his kennel — his safe place. But even there, when we gently cuddled him, you could feel how much he wanted to trust and be loved. And slowly, beautiful changes are happening. Conde now allows us to pet him outside of his corner too. He stops, leans into us, and lets himself enjoy being snuggled and comforted. He is truly a gorgeous boy, inside and out. In the park he becomes playful and sociable, happily running around with the other dogs and showing the joyful young galgo he was always meant to be. Conde still has so much love and happiness to give, and we are certain that in a loving home his confidence will grow even more quickly. A sweet teddy bear of a galgo, waiting for someone to show him that love is forever now.

Ludi

Ludi es una preciosa galguita con un hermoso pelaje marmolado claro. Pequeña y delicada, pesa menos de 20 kg, pero su presencia llena cualquier espacio.Cuando llegó, Ludi tenía muchísimo miedo de las personas y corría directamente a esconderse en un rincón cada vez que alguien se acercaba — una señal desgarradora del abandono y maltrato que seguramente sufrió. Pero poco a poco, Ludi ha empezado a confiar de nuevo. Ahora no solo disfruta de las caricias y los mimos, sino que, cuando dejamos de acariciarla, empuja suavemente nuestra mano y se acerca más, pidiendo tímidamente que continuemos. Ludi is a gorgeous little galga with a beautiful light marble-coloured coat. Petite and delicate, she weighs less than 20 kg, but her soulful presence fills the room. When Ludi first arrived, she was terrified of people and would run straight to the corner whenever anyone approached — a heartbreaking sign of the neglect and abuse she must have suffered. But little by little, Ludi has begun to trust again. Not only does she now enjoy cuddles and gentle strokes, but if you stop, she softly nudges your hand and moves closer, quietly asking for more. Watching her discover affection and safety has been incredibly moving, and we are sure she will blossom even more in a loving home. Ludi also seems to have known hunger for much of her life, as she still gobbles up her food as though she fears it might disappear. She is sociable, gentle, and full of quiet love. Those huge dark eyes carry both the sadness of her past and the hope of a beautiful future. Ludi will be a truly wonderful addition to someone’s life.

Canela

Canela sigue siendo apenas una cachorra — todavía no tiene ni un año. Esta pequeñísima galga pesa menos de 18 kg y, aun así, tiene muchísimo amor para dar. Gitana

Gitana is a beautiful black-and-white galga with a strong greyhound influence — reflected in her slightly more robust build and her soft, silky coat. She may seem a little shy at first, but that disappears the moment she receives her first cuddles. Very quickly, her affectionate and playful nature comes through. Gitana is wonderfully social with other dogs, loves to play, and once she knows you, she becomes a very cuddly and loving companion. Elegant, gentle, and full of charm — Gitana is truly a lovely girl who would make a wonderful addition to any home.

Capri

Capricho es un galgo precioso de color atigrado marmolado oscuro, pero su belleza solo es superada por su increíble carácter. Es alegre, juguetón y lleno de amor — uno de esos perros que lo da todo con el corazón. A pesar de haber sufrido una grave lesión en una de sus patas delanteras, por la que actualmente camina sobre tres patas, Capricho nunca ha dejado que eso le limite. Al contrario, parece disfrutar aún más de la vida. Con solo 1,5 años, todavía está esperando una operación que mejore su movilidad. Merece poder correr libremente con sus cuatro patas — aunque, viéndolo ahora, parecería que no le falta nada, ya que juega, corre y disfruta cada día al máximo. Capricho es pura luz. Su alegría, su fuerza y su amor por la vida son realmente inspiradores. Si le das un hogar, no solo traerá felicidad — también te recordará lo importante que es disfrutar cada día, como él hace.

Capricho is a truly stunning dark marble-coloured galgo, but his beauty is only surpassed by his incredible character. Despite having suffered a serious injury to his front leg, which means he currently moves on three legs, Capricho has never let it define him. If anything, it has made him embrace life even more. At just 1.5 years old, he is still waiting for surgery that will hopefully improve the use of his leg. He deserves the chance to run freely on all fours — although, you would never think anything is missing, as he already plays, runs, and enjoys life to the fullest every single day. Capricho is pure sunshine. His resilience, joy, and love for life are truly inspiring. Al igual que su hermano mayor Duke, Benito es un precioso ejemplo de cruce entre greyhound y galgo — combinando elegancia, fuerza y un carácter increíblemente cariñoso. Este guapísimo chico blanco y negro lo tiene todo: es sociable, carismático, juguetón y muy afectuoso. Benito vive con el corazón abierto — para él no existen los desconocidos, solo amigos por conocer. Da siempre lo mejor de sí mismo y confía en recibir lo mismo a cambio. Benito traerá alegría, risas y muchísimo amor a cualquier hogar que tenga la suerte de adoptarlo. Es un chico realmente especial, listo para compartir su maravilloso carácter con su propia familia.

Turrón

Turrón, este dulce galguito, fue encontrado solo en las calles cerca de un pueblo de Madrid con una grave herida en su pata. Estaba extremadamente delgado, apenas podía caminar y simplemente intentaba sobrevivir. A pesar de todo lo que había pasado, Turrón es una de las almas más dulces que puedas conocer. Lo acogimos y lo llevamos inmediatamente al veterinario. Al principio estaba tan débil que ni siquiera podía mantenerse en pie y había que llevarlo en brazos. La lesión en su pie parece ser antigua y se había infectado gravemente, pero gracias al tratamiento y los cuidados ya está mejorando mucho. Ahora Turrón puede caminar — e incluso corre hacia nosotros en busca de mimos y besos. Todavía necesita una cirugía complicada, y estamos esperando el momento adecuado para realizarla. Nos aseguraremos de que esté fuerte y sano para que pueda encontrar el hogar lleno de amor que merece. Turrón es tan dulce como su nombre. Es muy sociable con todos los perros y también compatible con gatos. No haría daño a nadie — solo quiere ser querido. Y aún no hemos conocido a nadie que no se enamore de él al instante.

Turrón, this sweet little galgo, was found alone on the streets near a village in Madrid with a horrific injury to his leg. He was extremely thin, barely able to walk, and simply trying to survive. Despite everything he had endured, Turrón is one of the gentlest souls you could ever meet. We brought him into our care and immediately rushed him to our vet. At first he was so weak he couldn’t stand and had to be carried everywhere. His foot injury appears to be an old one that became badly infected, but with medication and care he has already made wonderful progress. Now Turrón can walk again — and even runs toward you for cuddles and kisses. He still needs a complex surgery, and we are waiting for the right moment for the operation. We will make sure he becomes strong, healthy, and ready to find the loving home he truly deserves. Turrón is as sweet as his name suggests. He is sociable with all dogs and also cat-safe. He wouldn’t harm a soul — all he wants is love. And we have yet to meet anyone who doesn’t fall in love with him the moment they meet him.

Golondrina's past is reflected in her sad eyes. She had a trauma on one of her front paw and limping slightly. Golondrina is sweet once she understands that you are to be trusted. She is a sweet sweet girl.
