Lola

Lola es una preciosa galga de carácter dulce y tranquilo, que está viviendo su segunda juventud, en la plenitud de su sabiduría y con muchísimo amor todavía por dar.

Siempre hemos creído que todos los galgos merecen ser rescatados, independientemente de su edad o de su pasado. Intentamos no dar nunca la espalda a un galgo que necesita ayuda, porque la edad nunca debería determinar si alguien merece un hogar lleno de amor.

¡Y Lola es el ejemplo perfecto de por qué adoramos a nuestros veteranos!

Después de años siendo utilizada para la cría, sin recibir el amor y el cariño que merecía, Lola puede por fin descubrir cómo debería ser la vida — llena de bondad, comodidad, compañía y amor.

Es una galga extraordinariamente dulce, tranquila y de carácter fácil, feliz con todos y con todo. Pide tan poquito — una cama blandita, algunos mimos y un hogar tranquilo donde por fin pueda sentirse parte de una familia.

Por favor, no dejéis que su edad os eche para atrás. Hay algo increíblemente especial en regalarle a una galga veterana los que podrían ser los años más felices de su vida. ¡Y qué privilegio ser la persona que le regale esa felicidad!

Nuestra preciosa Lola ya ha pasado suficientes años dando a los demás. Ahora le toca a ella ser querida, mimada y disfrutar de esa maravillosa segunda juventud que tanto merece.

Lua

Lua is a beautiful 10-year-old Afghan galga who has spent her entire life being used and abused. Her story is heartbreaking, but we hope the most beautiful chapter of her life is still to come.

After years of relentless breeding, her body tells the story of everything she has endured. Her mammary glands hang almost to her knees, and she has developed mammary tumours. It is a terribly sad sight and a reminder of how much this gentle girl has suffered.

And yet, despite everything, Lua is an absolute gem! She LOVES humans and is always seeking affection, cuddles and companionship. She has spent her whole life giving everything to her puppies, and surely now it is time for someone to give all that love back to her.

After everything she has experienced, other dogs make Lua anxious, so she needs to be the only dog in her home. She is happy to relax at home while her humans go about their daily routines.

At ten years old, Lua asks for so little — a comfortable bed, gentle hands, love, peace and tranquillity. A proper retirement, at last.

Please don't shy away from her age. How wonderful it would be to give this precious girl the happiest years of her life.

Para él no existen los desconocidos; todo el mundo es simplemente un nuevo amigo al que todavía no ha tenido la oportunidad de conocer. Le encantan los mimos, adora recibir cariño y, por encima de todo, sus humanos son increíblemente importantes para él. Estar cerca de su gente y sentirse parte de su vida es lo que hace realmente feliz a Romeo. ¡Y además es guapísimo! Anteriormente vivía como perro de familia, pero perdió su hogar después de un incidente grave tras la llegada de un Chihuahua a la casa, sin que se hiciera una introducción gradual. Debido a este antecedente, Romeo no puede convivir con perros pequeños, gatos ni otros animales pequeños. Romeo es sociable con perros de un tamaño adecuado, pero lo que realmente adora por encima de todo son las personas. Es cariñoso, abierto y feliz cuando puede estar cerca de sus humanos, disfrutando de todos los mimos y todo el amor que estén dispuestos a darle. Junior is a handsome three-year-old galgo with his whole life ahead of him. Gentle, curious and full of potential, he is only just beginning to discover what life can be like when he is treated with kindness and respect. He can be a little shy when meeting new people, which suggests he may not have had much positive contact with humans during his early years. Thankfully, he hasn't lost his ability to trust and is already beginning to relax as he settles into the shelter. Junior is also a little insecure around other dogs. Rather than greeting every galgo with instant confidence, he prefers to take his time and assess new situations. We don't know exactly what happened in his past, but it is possible that his early experiences with other dogs were not always positive. Whatever the reason, Junior simply needs patient introductions and the reassurance that he is now safe. Although still a young galgo, Junior has a lifetime of love to give. With patience, guidance and a family willing to help him build his confidence, we have no doubt he will continue to blossom into the wonderful companion we already know he can be. Junior deserves the chance to leave his difficult beginnings behind and spend the rest of his life knowing nothing but kindness, security and unconditional love.

Valeria is a beautiful three-year-old brindle galga whose elegant coat and gentle expression perfectly reflect her sweet and sensitive nature. She can be a little timid when meeting new people and will need a little time and patience before she feels confident enough to trust. Like many galgos, once she knows she is safe, she begins to relax and quietly lets her lovely personality shine through. One of the most heartwarming things about Valeria is watching her with her friends. Out in the patio, her playful side comes to life as she happily runs, plays and enjoys being wonderfully silly with Rubi and Henry. Seeing her forget her worries and simply enjoy being a young galga is a joy to watch. These moments remind us that beneath her initial shyness is a happy, fun-loving girl who simply needs a family willing to give her the time she deserves. With love, patience and understanding, Valeria will continue to blossom and become a devoted and affectionate companion. Valeria is ready to leave her past behind and begin the happy new chapter she has been waiting for—a home filled with kindness, security and, of course, plenty of playtime.

Zingaro

Zingaro is a gorgeous dark brindle galgo with a beautiful personality and a heart that is simply overflowing with love!

This lovely boy absolutely LOVES humans! Nothing makes him happier than spending time with you, enjoying your company and soaking up all the affection he can get. For Zingaro, being close to his humans is simply the best thing in the world.

He is also wonderfully sociable with other galgos, getting along beautifully with both boys and girls. He is an easy-going, friendly little soul who seems to have plenty of love for absolutely everyone.

Zingaro may be a little smaller than the average galgo, but what he lacks in size he certainly makes up for with his enormous, generous heart!

Our beautiful Zingaro deserves a forever home where he can enjoy what he loves most — being surrounded by love, companionship and plenty of cuddles!

Yuma is a tiny little galga of around 18 kg, with enormous expressive eyes and wonderfully big ears that make her look just like Dobby from Harry Potter. Our little Dobby girl is absolutely adorable — but behind those beautiful eyes is the story of a young galga who arrived desperately frightened of humans and simply wanting to disappear. It is heartbreaking to imagine what Yuma must have experienced to make her so afraid of people. When she arrived, her instinct was to hide and make herself invisible, as though she had learned that this was the safest way to avoid whatever might come next. But the beautiful thing about Yuma is how quickly she is learning that life can also be good. She is discovering that humans don't only bring fear — they can bring safety, happiness, affection and eventually become the centre of her little universe. Like so many frightened galgos, Yuma has been learning by watching the others. She observes them coming happily towards us, wanting to play, asking for cuddles and enjoying all the affection they can get. Slowly she has begun to realise: perhaps she can do that too.

And now she does.

Yuma has started venturing outside her kennel even when we are there. Instead of immediately disappearing, she now stops and allows us to cuddle her. Little by little, she is beginning to seek out her own share of affection, and seeing this tiny girl choosing to trust us is truly wonderful. Yuma adores her kennel companions Ria and Negrino, but she is sociable with other dogs too. And as if this little treasure didn't already have enough going for her, she is even cat friendly. She still has more confidence to gain and will need a loving family who understands that trust grows at its own pace. But considering how frightened she was when she arrived, the progress she has already made is extraordinary. Our tiny Dobby girl is a little miracle. At only 18 kg, she may be small in size, but every brave little step she takes shows us just how enormous her capacity to trust and love can become. Now she needs a family who will show her that she never has to disappear again.

Morix is a beautiful black galga with a glossy, shining coat and an even more shining personality. Calm, gentle and wonderfully sociable, there is something incredibly peaceful about this lovely girl. Morix has no fear issues, but she isn't the kind of galga who will push her way to the front demanding attention. Instead, she simply waits. She watches you with that wonderful calmness of hers, knowing that sooner or later you will come to her — and when you do, she absolutely adores her cuddles. There is something so sweet about the way Morix approaches life. She seems to have a quiet wisdom about her: no need to rush, no need to compete, just wait patiently, enjoy the moment and appreciate every bit of affection when it comes her way. She is extremely sociable with humans and dogs alike and is not dominant at all. She is comfortable in the company of other dogs and would make a wonderful addition to a home with existing pets. Equally, with her calm and balanced nature, we believe Morix could also be perfectly happy as the only dog, enjoying all that love and attention for herself.

Cosmo

Cosmo is a gorgeous two-year-old galgo with a wonderfully unusual coat — a beautiful white face and white body decorated with striking brindle patches. He is certainly a handsome boy, and his personality is every bit as lovely as his looks!

He is young, happy, sociable and playful, but without being overwhelming or demanding. He has that perfect balance of youthful enthusiasm and a gentle, easy-going temperament that makes him such a pleasure to be around.

Cosmo loves enjoying life, playing and being part of everything, but he also knows how to take things calmly. He is simply a delightful boy with so much to offer.

Handsome, friendly, playful and wonderfully balanced — honestly, what more could anyone wish for?

Just like her brother Negrino, two-year-old Ria seems to have come to us from hell. And sadly, we can only imagine how many times she must have lived through that hell, day after day, during her short little life.

When Ria arrived, she desperately tried to make herself invisible. She seemed to have learned that if you stayed very still, if you hid and nobody noticed you, perhaps nothing bad would happen. Perhaps you wouldn't be punished, beaten or hurt. No young galga should ever have had to learn that being invisible was the safest way to survive.

For the first few days, Ria barely moved from her bed. It was almost as though she couldn't believe that this soft, warm place was actually hers — a bed she was supposed to sleep on, rather than somewhere she needed to crawl underneath and hide. So we let her take her time. And slowly, Ria began to learn something completely new: she didn't need to hide anymore. She could lie on her bed and we would come to her, not to hurt her, but to give her affection. Lots and lots of affection. At first, Ria was still very unsure about leaving the safety of her kennel. But little by little, we started noticing her outside more often. When she thought nobody was watching, she even began playing with Yuma and her brother Negrino — those precious moments when she could forget her fear and simply be the young galga she should always have been.

And then something even more beautiful happened. Ria started coming out when we were there too.

After only one week, the progress this sweet little girl has made is tremendous. She no longer automatically runs away when we approach her. Now she stops. She lowers her little head and allows us to stroke her — and, most importantly, she is beginning to enjoy those gentle hands and receive her cuddles gladly. Ria still has so much to learn about this new life. She needs time to understand that she is safe, that people can be kind and that she never has to make herself invisible again. But she has already made the most wonderful start. There is truly nothing more rewarding than watching a frightened, broken little galga begin to trust again. Every time Ria leaves the safety of her kennel, every time she chooses not to run away and every time she lowers her head for a cuddle, she is leaving another tiny piece of her past behind. Our beautiful Ria spent far too long learning how to disappear. Now we want her to learn something completely different — that she deserves to be seen, to feel safe and, above all, to be loved.

Linda is an absolutely gorgeous white galga with a wonderfully lively, happy and sociable personality. For Linda, there really are no strangers — only friends she hasn't met yet! She greets everyone with a happy face and a wagging tail, delighted to meet whoever happens to come her way. And if that person happens to have a pair of hands available for cuddles, even better! Linda's favourite things are affection, cuddles... and then perhaps a few more cuddles just to make sure she has had her fair share. She is wonderfully sociable not only with people but with other dogs too. Linda enjoys their company and fits easily into the group. And, as if her CV weren't already impressive enough, she is also cat workable. There is something so easy and joyful about Linda. She approaches life and everyone in it with enthusiasm and an open heart, asking for very little in return other than love and companionship. Beautiful on the outside and an absolute sweetheart on the inside, Linda really is a wonderful all-round galga. Sociable, affectionate, happy and full of love — what more could anyone ask for?

Ónix is a handsome black galgo born in 2018, proving that age is just a number. He is full of life, wonderfully playful, and has a cheerful personality that makes everyone around him smile. Unlike many rescued galgos, Ónix has no fear of people. He enjoys human company, happily joins in with whatever is going on, and is always ready for a game or a cuddle. His confidence and easy-going nature make him a wonderful companion. Although he loves to play, Ónix also has the calmness and maturity that come with being an adult galgo. He has found the perfect balance between enjoying life's adventures and relaxing with the people he loves. This gorgeous black boy has so much love still to give and is simply waiting for a family to share it with. We are sure he will bring happiness, laughter, and endless affection to the lucky home that chooses him.

Suerte

Suerte is a beautiful, incredibly sweet 8-year-old galga who seems to radiate peace, calm and love.

She is a little timid when she first meets you, preferring to take her time to make sure she can trust you. But once she knows you, what a lovely transformation! She starts looking for you, seeking out your company and coming over for those wonderful cuddles she has discovered she enjoys so much.

Suerte is a wonderfully gentle, peaceful soul, never demanding, just quietly affectionate and happy to be close to the people she trusts. She is also very sociable with all the other galgos and enjoys their company.

At eight years old, Suerte has that lovely maturity and serenity that makes our slightly older galgas so special. She doesn't ask for much, just kindness, companionship and a little patience while she opens her heart.

There is something incredibly touching about earning the trust of such a sweet, gentle girl. Once she gives you her heart, we are sure she will be the most wonderful loving companion.

Her name means luck in Spanish, and we hope that very soon luck will be on her side. May our beautiful, sweet Suerte finally find the loving forever home she so deserves!

Shauna is a young Irish-looking greyhound with a perfectly fitting Irish name. She is still just a puppy — only around a year old — yet sadly, galgeros had already taught her fear before she even had the chance to grow up. When Shauna arrived, she was terrified of people. Thankfully, little by little, she has begun to trust us and now plays like the lovely young puppy she truly is. As a greyhound, Shauna has a naturally calm and balanced temperament, though she is smaller than the average greyhound or galga. Her black-and-white spotted coat and adorable bat ears make her absolutely beautiful and full of charm. Shauna must have come from a very difficult past, but despite everything, she remains sweet and social with all other dogs. She is currently being treated for leishmania, but because she is still such a young girl, we are very positive that it will not affect her future. This little Irish girl is a true treasure, ready to leave her difficult past behind and discover what a loving home truly feels like.

This gorgeous Greyhound boy makes us smile every single day, because never has a dog been given a more appropriate name than Snoozing.

Snoozing just looooves... snoozing.

Four legs in the air, flat on his back and completely at peace with the world — this is Snoozing at his happiest. He likes a good snooze in the morning, followed by some more snoozing during the day. Naturally, after such an exhausting schedule, an afternoon snooze is essential. And then, of course, he needs a full night's sleep to recover from all that snoozing!

He is simply hilarious and utterly adorable.

Snoozing is also an exceptionally handsome Greyhound with that wonderfully calm, chilled nature we love so much about these beautiful dogs. He takes life in his stride and seems to have perfected the art of simply enjoying it.

But don't let all that sleeping fool you! When Snoozing is awake, he is wonderfully sociable and playful with the other galgos and Greyhounds and thoroughly enjoys their company. He also loves his humans and is always very happy to receive plenty of cuddles and affection.

We suspect Snoozing would also be perfectly content to stay home and catch up on some very important sleeping while his humans go about those parts of their daily routine where he can't accompany them. Equally, with his wonderfully social and easy-going personality, he would be delighted to be included whenever possible.

He really does seem to be the kind of boy who could fit happily into many different lifestyles — give him companionship, affection, some fun and, most importantly, a comfortable bed, and Snoozing will take care of the rest. We simply cannot praise this boy enough. Handsome, funny, affectionate, playful, sociable and unbelievably chilled, Snoozing is an absolutely amazing Greyhound.

Candela is a beautiful seven-year-old galga whose life before rescue was clearly filled with hardship. When she arrived, she was absolutely terrified of people. We can only imagine what she must have endured. It is possible that she spent her life being used only for breeding, receiving no kindness at all, and she also arrived with a broken hip. Despite everything, Candela has already shown us how remarkable she is. Little by little, she began to come out of her shell. At first she trusted only a very small number of us, allowing those familiar faces to stroke her and gently take her for walks. As time passed, she also started to enjoy the company of others, taking those first precious steps towards believing that people could be kind. Sadly, Candela then had to undergo a complicated operation. Understandably, the recovery slowed her emotional progress, and for a while she had to focus all her strength on healing. Now that she has recovered, Candela is once again enjoying life. She can run and play with the other galgos, and when she feels safe, you catch wonderful glimpses of the happy girl she has always been. If unfamiliar people are nearby, she still prefers to keep her distance, but with those she knows and trusts, her gentle personality begins to shine. Candela still has a journey ahead of her. She needs a family with patience, understanding and a willingness to let her build trust at her own pace. We know she is capable of it because we have already seen it. Watching her relax, seek out affection and slowly open her heart has been one of the most rewarding experiences. Time and again, our galgos remind us that love has an incredible power to heal. We believe Candela's story is still being written, and we know that one day she will fully discover the happiness she has always deserved. All she needs now is someone willing to believe in her as much as we do.

Greta

Greta is an adorable young galga puppy, full of beans, full of mischief and absolutely bursting with happiness!

As far as Greta is concerned, life is one big playground, and surely the whole point of being alive is to play, have fun and enjoy every single moment! And who could argue with such a wonderful philosophy?

This gorgeous little girl is incredibly sociable, happily playing with all her canine friends and greeting us with so much affection and enthusiasm. For Greta, everyone is a friend and every day is another opportunity for a new adventure.

She is a joyful, affectionate little whirlwind who simply loves life, and her happiness is wonderfully contagious.

We are absolutely certain that whoever is lucky enough to adopt Greta will be bringing a little ray of sunshine into their home. She will fill their days with laughter, love, playful mischief and endless smiles.

Our beautiful Greta is simply irresistible. Now all she needs is a forever family to share her wonderful enthusiasm for life!

Lagri

Lagri is a beautiful, petite young galga with the sweetest, gentlest nature and a wonderfully calm personality.

This lovely little girl may appear a little shy when you first meet her, but give her a little time and you will soon discover just how much she enjoys affection. Once she feels comfortable, Lagri is more than happy to receive her share of cuddles, and there is something incredibly endearing about watching this gentle little soul begin to trust.

Lagri is not a demanding girl. She has a peaceful, quiet nature and simply needs a little reassurance to feel at ease. She doesn't rush into things, preferring to take her time and discover that the people around her are kind and that those gentle hands are there to offer love.

With other dogs, Lagri is wonderfully sociable. She is not dominant at all and gets along beautifully with her canine companions. Her calm, easy-going temperament means she could fit very happily into a family with other dogs, and she is also cat workable.

There is something particularly special about these quiet little galgas. They may not be the first to rush towards you demanding attention, but when they begin to trust and choose to come closer for affection, those moments are truly precious.

Lagri is one of those little gems who simply needs someone willing to give her the space and time to blossom. She doesn't ask for much — just kindness, patience, a little reassurance and plenty of love.

In return, we believe her future family will discover a wonderfully affectionate, loyal and gentle companion.

Our precious little Lagri has so much love waiting to be shared. Now she just needs a family who will give her the time to show them what a beautiful little soul she truly is.

Estrella is a true star, inside and out. There is something incredibly special about this beautiful young galga, and as her name suggests, her beauty and gentle light simply shine through. Despite her young age, Estrella has already known hardship. Far too early in life, she learned that humans could be cruel and that people were something to fear. When she first arrived, she would hide from us, unsure of our intentions and not yet able to believe that human hands could bring anything other than fear. We are so happy to say that those days are already being left behind. Our little star is learning to trust and, most beautifully, she is now discovering just how wonderful cuddles can be. When we stroke her and then stop, Estrella gently moves her beautiful little face closer, quietly asking us for more. For a galga who once hid from us, these small gestures mean absolutely everything. She still has a journey ahead of her, but every day we see more of the wonderful galga waiting to emerge. Watching her learn to trust, accept affection and slowly let go of her past is truly an amazing experience. We see such a bright future ahead for our shining Estrella. And we simply have to mention just how stunning she is. Estrella is a true Spanish galga, with an incredibly slender and elegant figure, delicate features, a long graceful tail and a beautifully short, sleek coat. She has that unmistakable elegance that makes you stop and look twice. Once you meet her, there is no question about it — she is a true belleza. Now Estrella needs someone who will continue this beautiful journey with her, giving her the patience, security and love she needs to shine brighter and brighter. We know that one day the fear will be just a distant memory, and the star we can already see will shine completely.

Cocoheart is a gorgeous black galgo, slender and on the smaller side, with a wonderfully friendly and easy-going personality. Coco is a very sociable boy, but what is particularly lovely about him is that he is never overwhelming. He doesn't need to be the centre of attention or push himself forward — he is simply friendly with everyone, happy to be part of things and delighted to enjoy whatever the day brings.

He is also wonderfully playful and absolutely loves his kennel mate Ofelia. The two of them can spend hours playing together, and it is such a joy to watch Coco simply having fun and enjoying the company of his friend.

With people, Coco is equally lovely. He is warm, sociable and approachable, with that wonderful balance of enjoying affection and companionship without being demanding. He truly is just a lovely, lovely boy. One thing his future family should know is that although Cocoheart is very sociable with dogs, cats are not for him, so he will need a feline-free home. Beautiful, playful, friendly and wonderfully uncomplicated, Cocoheart would make a fantastic companion. Now this sweet black beauty just needs someone to notice him and give him the loving forever home he deserves.

Rondo es un chico absolutamente precioso y dulce, con unas maravillosas orejas largas y unos ojos enormemente expresivos. En su mirada todavía se percibe una tristeza que parece reflejar el maltrato de su pasado, pero también empieza a aparecer algo nuevo: la esperanza de que quizás su futuro esté por fin lleno de amor. Rondo es tímido con las personas, pero nos observa atentamente y aprende de sus compañeras galgas más confiadas. Cuando ellas vienen corriendo a buscar mimos, él las mira y a veces se anima a acercarse también, antes de volver a la seguridad de su chenil. Allí, donde se siente protegido, acepta encantado todas esas caricias que tanto merece. Poco a poco, está aprendiendo gracias a los demás que ya no tiene nada que temer de nosotros. Es un chico increíblemente tranquilo y silencioso. Nunca hemos oído a Rondo ladrar ni llorar; simplemente observa el mundo a su alrededor y espera pacientemente. Nunca exige atención, pero se nota cuánto disfruta del cariño cuando se siente suficientemente seguro para recibirlo. Los callos que tiene en el vientre cuentan otra parte de su historia. Sea cual sea la vida que tuvo antes, está claro que una cama blanda no formaba parte de ella. Incluso ahora apenas se aleja de la cama de su chenil, casi como si todavía no pudiera creer que ese lugar cómodo es realmente suyo y que nadie se lo va a quitar. Rondo necesitará una familia paciente y comprensiva que le permita descubrir su nueva vida a su propio ritmo. Vida

Vida is a tiny little treasure of a galga, weighing just 17 kg, with a beautiful tiger-coloured brindle coat, a slightly fuzzy look and the sweetest personality to match.

This adorable little girl was found wandering on the streets. Thankfully, we were alerted to her situation and quickly organised her rescue. And what a lovely surprise she gave her rescuers! Vida settled happily into their car, almost as though she knew that her days of wandering alone were finally over.

Fortunately, Vida was found without any injuries or obvious signs of trauma, and she has taken to her new life beautifully.

She is a wonderfully sociable, affectionate and easy-going little galga who seems to love everyone she meets. Vida adores her human companions and is equally happy in the company of other dogs. She is friendly, gentle and simply delighted to be surrounded by kindness and companionship.

There is something particularly endearing about Vida. Perhaps it is her tiny size, her unusual fuzzy brindle coat or simply that lovely, open-hearted nature of hers. Whatever it is, she has completely stolen our hearts. Vida means life in Spanish, and what a lovely name for a little girl who has been given the chance of a wonderful new beginning!

Our precious little Vida is ready to leave her days on the streets far behind and discover everything that a loving family life has to offer. At just 17 kg, she may be tiny, but she has an enormous amount of love to give. Now all this beautiful little treasure needs is a forever home where she will never have to wander alone again.

Some of our dogs are currently waiting safely in our Seville kennel until a space becomes available in Barcelona. As soon as one of our Barcelona dogs finds a loving home, another dog is able to make the journey north and begin the next chapter of their life. Moro is a handsome galgo born in 2020 with a wonderfully calm and gentle nature. He is a quiet soul who enjoys a peaceful environment and takes life at his own relaxed pace. He can be a little timid when meeting new people, as he is still settling into his new surroundings, but beneath that initial reserve is a very sweet and affectionate boy. With patience and kindness, Moro will continue to grow in confidence and become a wonderfully loyal companion. Unlike many younger galgos, Moro is not looking for a busy or boisterous lifestyle. We feel he would be happiest in a calm home where he can enjoy peaceful walks, cosy naps, and the quiet companionship of his family. He doesn't need excitement to be happy—he simply wants to feel safe, loved, and included. Although Moro gets along well with other dogs, we believe he would especially thrive as an only dog, not because he doesn't like other dogs, but because his gentle and quiet nature would allow him to fully relax and enjoy the peaceful life he deserves. A truly lovely boy who will reward patience with endless devotion.

Terras

Terras is a beautiful, gentle 11-year-old galgo with the loveliest nature, a peaceful soul and, we hope, a wonderful second youth still ahead of him.

We have always believed that every galgo deserves to be rescued, regardless of their age, their background or where they come from. We try never to turn away a galgo in need, even when that galgo is already 11 years old. Because why should age determine whether someone deserves kindness, safety and a loving home?

And Terras is the perfect example of why we feel so strongly about our seniors.

He is a wonderfully calm, gentle and loving boy who asks for so very little. A comfortable bed, some affection, a peaceful life and, most importantly, someone to call his own. After all these years, surely that isn't too much to ask?

There is something incredibly special about older galgos. They have a quiet wisdom about them, a gentleness and an ability to appreciate the simplest pleasures in life. They don't need grand adventures or endless excitement. Often, just being close to you, enjoying your company and knowing they are safe is more than enough.

Terras is now in his second youth, and we would love nothing more than to see him spend it surrounded by warmth, kindness and love.

Please don't let the number 11 put you off. Think instead of the wonderful opportunity you have to give this beautiful boy what may be the happiest years of his entire life.

Our seniors have so much love left to give, and there is something deeply rewarding about offering a home to a dog who has waited so long for one.

Terras doesn't need a lifetime of promises. He just needs someone to promise that, from now on, every day will be filled with love.

Hooper is a gorgeous young male galgo with the most beautiful marble-brindle coat and a personality every bit as warm and striking as his looks. He is a wonderfully vibrant, playful and sociable boy — a real little loveheart who enjoys life, enjoys company and brings a lovely happy energy wherever he goes. Hooper absolutely loves his humans and is always delighted to receive affection and be part of whatever is happening around him. He is also very sociable with other dogs, although he particularly enjoys the company of his female canine friends. Give Hooper some lovely galga girlfriends to play and spend his days with and he is a very happy boy!

And Hooper isn't just looking for a home — he would love to be part of your everyday life. He is the kind of boy who would happily accompany you through your daily routine, joining you for walks, outings, a trip to the shopping centre or wherever the day might take you. For Hooper, being with his humans and included in their lives is what matters.

One important thing to know about Hooper is that he cannot live with cats.
