Filipe

¡Filipe es puro encanto hecho galgo! Tiene ese carácter tranquilo tan típico de los greyhounds, combinado con un toque juguetón y una actitud relajada que lo hace feliz con cualquier cosa. Filipe adora jugar con sus amigos, pero su actividad favorita es, sin duda, recibir mimos de cualquiera que esté dispuesto a dárselos. Para Filipe no existen los extraños — todo el mundo es un nuevo amigo, ya sea humano o canino. Filipe lo tiene todo: belleza, dulzura, sociabilidad y un corazón lleno de amor.

Triana

Triana tiene 11 años pero ¡su espíritu es el de una jovencita llena de alegría! Es divertida, juguetona y desprende una energía contagiosa — una galga que no sabe lo que es hacerse mayor. Le encanta jugar con sus amigos perrunos o contigo, siempre con una sonrisa (sí, ¡los galgos sonríen!). Su mirada brillante, su pelaje reluciente y su personalidad chispeante hacen que nadie crea que tiene más de dos años. Es más pequeña que la media y bastante delgada, aunque su apetito es como el de una adolescente. Triana es muy cosquillosa — si le das ese merecido masaje de galgo, ¡te regalará un pequeño baile de felicidad! Se lleva muy bien con todos los perros, aunque no duda en mostrar con estilo su "superioridad senior". Triana es una joya única — alegre, cariñosa y lista para llenar de luz tu hogar.

Triana may be 11 years young, but her spirit is pure puppy joy! She’s cheerful, playful, and full of sparkle — a true galga who never got the memo about aging. Whether she’s playing with her doggy friends or bouncing around for your attention, she radiates happiness. With her shiny coat, bright eyes, and bubbly personality, you'd never guess her age — most would assume she’s only two! She’s also much smaller than the average galga and has remained slim, though her appetite is more like a teenager’s. Triana is famously ticklish — give her a proper greyhound-rub and she’ll do a little happy dance just for you. She gets along wonderfully with all dogs, though she might remind everyone who the senior queen is! Triana is a sparkling gem — joyful, affectionate, and ready to light up someone’s life.

Lolito

El cuerpo de Lolito cuenta una historia de sufrimiento — delgado, lleno de cicatrices, y unos ojos que reflejan miedo, abandono… pero también, por suerte, un rayo de esperanza. Con 6 años, es muy probable que solo haya conocido la crueldad durante toda su vida. Es tímido y desconfiado al principio — y no es de extrañar — pero poco a poco está descubriendo que la bondad existe. Cuando empieza a confiar, se acerca con suavidad y busca caricias. Ser un macho de color negro tampoco le ayuda — una combinación tristemente ignorada con demasiada frecuencia. Pero Lolito merece ser visto, de verdad, por el alma tierna y valiente que es. Ya no más crueldad, pequeño. A partir de ahora, solo te esperan el amor, la ternura y el cuidado que siempre mereciste.

Lolito’s body tells a story of pain — thin, covered in scars, and eyes that reflect fear, neglect… but also, thankfully, a glimmer of hope. At 6 years old, it’s likely he has known only cruelty throughout his life. Shy and hesitant at first — and who could blame him — Lolito is slowly discovering that kindness exists. Once he begins to trust, he opens up and gently leans in for cuddles. It doesn’t help that he’s a black male galgo — a combination that often leaves dogs overlooked. But Lolito deserves to be seen, truly seen, for the gentle, brave soul he is. No more cruelty, little one. From now on, it’s only love, softness, and the care you’ve always deserved.

Romina

Romina es un auténtico amor — de esas galgas que te roban el corazón en cuanto las conoces. Es joven, elegante, y de un precioso color negro azabache. Fue encontrada vagando por las calles de Madrid, abandonada como una herramienta más cuando dejó de ser “útil” para su galguero. Pero Romina ya ha descubierto que no todas las personas son como las de su pasado — y ahora no se cansa de recibir cariño, caricias y amor. Con aproximadamente 1 año y medio de edad, Romina sigue siendo una cachorra juguetona. Es muy sociable, llena de vida y está lista para empezar una nueva etapa rodeada de ternura y cuidado.

Romina is an absolute sweetheart — the kind of galga who will steal your heart the instant you meet her. She’s a young, elegant, jet-black beauty who was found wandering the streets around Madrid, abandoned like so many others when no longer "useful" to her galguero. But Romina has already learned that not everyone is like her past — and now, she soaks up every bit of love, cuddles, and affection she can get. At approximately 1.5 years old, Romina is still a playful puppy at heart. She’s very social, full of life, and ready to start a new chapter surrounded by kindness and care.

Albano

Albano es un galgo alto, elegante y precioso, de color negro azabache. Es joven, juguetón y muy sociable. Fue encontrado vagando por las calles de Madrid — abandonado, confundido y hambriento. Por suerte, unas personas de buen corazón lo recogieron y lo trajeron con nosotros y ahora está listo para comenzar una nueva vida en un hogar lleno de amor. Albano es sociable con todos los perros y siempre agradece recibir caricias. Es un alma hermosa por dentro y por fuera, y solo necesita a alguien que lo quiera tanto como él sabrá querer.

Albano is a gorgeous, tall, and elegant jet-black galgo. He’s young, playful, and wonderfully social. He was found wandering the streets near Madrid — abandoned, confused, and hungry. Thankfully, kind people took him in and brought him to us, and now he’s ready for a second chance at life in a loving forever home. Albano is friendly with all other dogs and always happy to receive cuddles. He’s a beautiful soul inside and out, looking for someone to love him as much as he’ll love them in return.

Gitana

Gitana es una belleza negra azabache, con una mirada que lo dice todo — unos ojos que cuentan en silencio la historia de su pasado. Aunque es joven, es tímida… tímida ante un mundo que solo ha conocido a través de la crueldad de su galguero. Esta magnífica galga es pura belleza, por dentro y por fuera. Se te parte el corazón al imaginar lo que habrá vivido — el terror en su mirada lo dice todo. Pero ahora, Gitana empieza a asentarse. Está a salvo, y poco a poco comienza a confiar. Está lista para un nuevo capítulo lleno de felicidad — uno donde no solo sea admirada por su belleza, sino, sobre todo, profundamente amada. Gitana es muy sociable y está encantada de compartir su espacio con otros perros.

Morucho

Morucho es un galgo muy joven, alegre, simpático y sociable. Llegó junto a su hermano Tunante, y juntos llenan de alegría todo a su paso. Tiene un precioso rostro atigrado oscuro con llamativas marcas negras — es sencillamente impresionante. Como buen jovencito, le encanta jugar con sus compañeros del refugio y se lleva de maravilla con todos los galgos. Morucho está lleno de vida, amor y alegría — listo para llenar de luz su nuevo hogar.

Morucho is a very young, happy, funny, and social galgo. He arrived with his brother Tunante, and together they bring a spark of joy wherever they go. Morucho has a beautiful dark brindle face with striking black markings — he’s absolutely stunning. As a young and playful boy, he loves spending time with his kennel mates and gets along wonderfully with all the other galgos. Morucho is full of life, love, and joy — ready to brighten someone’s home.

Despe

Despe es una joven galguita atigrada, y sus ojos cuentan su historia. Hay miedo en su mirada — ese miedo que solo nace tras haber sobrevivido a un gran sufrimiento. Aún le cuesta creer que el horror que vivió ya quedó atrás.Es tímida y necesita tiempo para volver a confiar. A menudo busca consuelo en un rincón tranquilo, tratando de pasar desapercibida. Pero cuando sale al patio de juego, empezamos a ver cómo brilla — disfruta de su tiempo al aire libre y empieza a mostrarse tal como es. Es un viaje precioso y conmovedor ver cómo una galga como Despe sale de su caparazón y aprende a confiar. El vínculo que se crea en ese proceso siempre es muy especial. Despe es sociable con todos los perros, le encantan los mimos y sería muy feliz en un hogar tranquilo y amoroso donde por fin pueda relajarse, sentirse segura y ser querida.

Despe is a young brindle galga, and her eyes tell her story. There’s fear in her gaze — the kind that only comes from surviving true hardship. It’s still difficult for her to believe that the horror she endured is finally behind her. She’s shy and needs time to trust again. Often, she seeks comfort in a quiet corner, trying to disappear. But once she’s out in the play area, we begin to see the spark — she enjoys her time outdoors and starts to come alive. It’s a beautiful and moving journey to watch a galga like Despe come out of her shell and begin to trust. The bond that forms in that process is always something very special. Despe is social with all other dogs, loves cuddles, and would thrive in a calm, loving home where she can finally relax, feel safe, and be loved.

Ari

Ari es una galguita encantadora, dulce y tranquila. Es tímida al principio, pero cuando se siente segura, le encantan las caricias — y, más que nada, sueña con tener por fin un hogar propio. Durante toda su vida, Ari fue tratada como una simple herramienta, sin conocer el amor de verdad. Sería maravilloso que al fin pudiera experimentar el cariño y la tranquilidad de un verdadero hogar.

Es muy sociable con otros perros, tanto machos como hembras, y sería una compañera dulce y serena. Ari is a lovely, gentle, and calm little galga. She’s shy at first, but once she feels safe, she loves to receive cuddles — and more than anything, she longs for a home of her own. All her life, Ari was treated as nothing more than a tool, never truly loved. It would mean the world for her to finally know the comfort and warmth of a real home. She is very social with other dogs, both male and female, and would make a sweet and peaceful companion.

Leo

Leo es un galgo blanco absolutamente precioso y elegante. His body still bears the marks of a difficult past, but his eyes — so soulful and sad — tell a story not of fear, but of longing for love and connection.Leo is very social and absolutely adores cuddles and affection. Flaca

Flaca proviene de uno de los rincones más oscuros del mundo de la caza — un lugar realmente podrido. Su piel lleva las cicatrices de un pasado horrible, y no es de extrañar que esta joven y preciosa galga sea, al principio, desconfiada con los humanos.Pero, increíblemente, tras solo unos días, empezó a seguirnos… e incluso a acercarse para recibir caricias. Roma

Roma es un galgo tranquilo, silencioso y dulce, de constitución delgada. Es tan apacible y discreto que casi pasa desapercibido — nunca quiere molestar, y es feliz pasando el día descansando en una camita.

Es algo desconfiado con las personas al principio, pero en cuanto le das una caricia, empieza a confiar… y pronto volverá a por más. A Roma le encanta tumbarse tranquilamente a tu lado y hacerte compañía, sea lo que sea que estés haciendo.

Es sociable con todos los perros y tiene un carácter algo sumiso. Una alma verdaderamente dulce y serena — el compañero perfecto.

Roma is a calm, quiet, and sweet galgo with a slender build. He’s so gentle and peaceful that he almost blends into the background — never wanting to be a bother, just happy to spend his day resting on a dog bed.

He’s a little wary of people at first, but the moment you give him a cuddle, he begins to trust — and soon he’ll be coming back for more. Roma loves to lie quietly by your side, offering calm companionship no matter what you're doing.

He’s sociable with all dogs and slightly submissive by nature. A truly lovely and peaceful soul — the perfect companion.

María es una galga muy, muy tímida. Debió de sufrir tanto maltrato y palizas que está absolutamente aterrada. Quiere esconderse, y se nos parte el corazón al verla, porque solo desea volverse invisible. Se acurruca al fondo del chenil, y aunque la puerta al patio esté abierta para que juegue con sus compañeros, ella simplemente se esconde. Llegó temblando, pero está haciendo pequeños progresos: ya puede salir con correa y dar un paseo por el patio. Permite que la acaricien y, poco a poco, está aprendiendo que aquí solo recibirá amor. Necesitará a alguien que comprenda el trauma que ha vivido y que le dé el tiempo necesario para salir de su caparazón. Es un proceso verdaderamente conmovedor, y cada pequeño avance te hace llorar de alegría.
Maria is a shy shy girl.
She must have received so much abuse beating that she is absolutely terrified.
She wants to hide and it breaks our heart looking at her how she just wants to be invisible. She curls up at the back of the kennel and even as the door is open to the patio to play with her kennel mates she just hides. She came trembling but ahe is making small progress and she can come out with a lead and go for a walk in the patio. She lets to be patted and slowly she is learning we will only love her. She will need someone who understands the trauma she must have went through and give her time to slowly come out of her shell. It is truly rewarding process and any small sign and you cry with happiness.

Marisma es una galga de carácter difícil por el pasado que ha tenido. Necesita comprensión y cariño.

Marisma has a truly horrible and sad past. She was found with a carabiner attached to her leg. She not only was kept in a horrific condition but most likely she was abused. No wonder she suffers from extreme trauma and needs incredible patience and space to let her trust you. She has however gained some trust and can be now taken for a walk within the centre and she enjoys the company of her kennel-mate Haiku. She would need an understanding home with someone who is an expert with traumatic dogs. Marisma is an absolute beauty and a precious galga. She is good with any dogs she is submissive and loves cats.

Mesteno is an absolutely gorgeous galgo, he is clam and collected - very laid back.

Golondrina es una galga con un pasado duro. Es cariñosa cuando sabe que puede confiar.

Golondrina's past is reflected in her sad eyes. She had a trauma on one of her front paw and limping slightly. Golondrina is sweet once she understands that you are to be trusted. She is a sweet sweet girl.
